January Updates and Expectations

Hello again!

It’s a New Year if you care about that (or that calendar) and if you don’t – well, if you don’t, it’s always another sunrise, and … celebrate New Year whenever you want or don’t! 😀

As for updates … I don’t have the paperbacks for the illustrated Return of the Dragonriders novels in hand yet, so I can’t take any pictures to share with you, but they are now available!

So if you’d like slice-of-life/cozy X epic dragon rider fantasy inspired by the Dragonriders of Pern and George MacDonald, and appropriate for all ages, with the added bonus of illustrations by the author, please check them out! I’d love to share them with more people, and it’s a dream come true to finally have this series beautifully illustrated. It is, after all, in its own way my favorite work, and the one I most often re-read to remind myself what I believe.

You should be able to find it from your preferred retailer in illustrated ebook or illustrated paperback here.

On the writing side of things … I am just writing in a zillion different WIPs at once. Mostly, it’s been Dragon-Mage (I am now well into #4) and the Library WIP these days. My hope is to publish Dragon-Mage #3 (Healing of Fire) and the Lìrulin-and-Eldor romance/fantasy-adventure-quest (probably to-be-titled A Bond Unvowed) in the coming months, hopefully by Summer, but that may be ambitious, especially as I am now in love with illustrating my stories, which means things take longer! So we will see how that goes.

As for reading … I read quite a lot in December – and the last year – and you will be seeing more reviews! Right now, however, my goal is to write more reviews before I read even more books and make things harder!

And then … some BookFunnel promotions here.

January Edgy Christian Fiction

Includes some of my Epoch of the Promise novels, the Return of the Dragonriders trilogy I was talking about just earlier, and my Legend of the Singer Duology. FYI, Children of the Dryads, the first book in the Legend of the Singer series, a no-romance YA coming-of-age fantasy, is 99cents for January.

Check out this collection of clean fiction here.

New Year New Bingeable Fantasy

Over 125 awesome fantasy titles here. Also includes my Return of the Dragonriders trilogy, and my January sale, Children of the Dryads. I hope you can find some awesome new reads to binge and enjoy for the new year here.

And with that, come again soon! But before you go, one question if you care to share your thoughts: how do you feel about illustrations in non-children’s/picture books, and what kind of illustrations do you like best?
