December Updates and Sales

Hello, everyone!

November’s been quite a month. I finished the fantastic illustrations for the 3rd book in the Return of the Dragonriders trilogy, DragonSword, and also added some good stuff! I’ve got the ebook out wide in the world, and I’ve got the paperback uploaded, so hopefully by January all three of the new, beautiful, illustrated paperbacks will be live!

Alongside all of that, I also had someone telling me that I should get AI art over commissioning illustrations from cover artists, so! AND, I wrote a very, very good chunk in Dragon-Mage #4! It’s coming along quite nicely, and we’re finally getting a good look into what’s really going on inside Sylvara, as her dragon helps her figure out what she’s feeling and what she actually wants. This is so fun!

I didn’t read much in November, though I did get the privilege of ARC reading Noor Al-Shanti’s up-coming release, Isaree of the Wild Islands. I definitely enjoyed it, and my review will be coming on the day it releases, December 22nd.

Umm, other than that? I guess I’ve just been so busy this month, there’s not much more I have to share. I will start sharing some of the beautiful illustrations in the Return of the Dragonriders books, but I may save that for January, when all the paperbacks are available. THOUGH they are full-color in the ebooks!

Oh yes. I HOPE to maybe do a few themes about books with certain themes or elements – like sibling bonds – that I’ve enjoyed in the upcoming months. So watch out for that.

Sales! Promotions and sales! I’ve still got those left to share.

EPIC Sci-fi and Fantasy

Includes over 100 sci-fi and fantasy novels, across all subgenres except erotica. Includes my Return of the Dragonriders novels (among a few others). On that note, DragonBirth is on 99cent sale for a few days longer!

I Dance With Rebels

A selection of free fantasy novels, featuring characters who break the law or skirt the line between right and wrong. Includes my Dragon-Mage prequel, Promise of Fire.

Fairy Tales, Myths, and Legends

There you go! I hope you have fun with these collections if you choose to explore them!

What’s a book you liked more than you expected, or that you liked when you weren’t sure you’d made the right choice to get it?

Alternately: does that happen to you a lot?

It happens to me sometimes! Wistful Ascending by JCM Berne was an example of one I wasn’t sure about, but I hoped I’d like, and more than lived up to my best expectations. With Isaree of the Wild Isles, I went into knowing a lot less about the book OR author than I normally do, and so I was a bit worried and second-guessed myself after I’d already asked for the ARC copy. But I enjoyed it, so that turned out well!
