Another of my pieces. This is what I imagine some of the art in the Library in Eskeliae that Camilla and her brother will (very briefly) visit in Scars of Fire looks like.
Art adorns the Sea Elf cities everywhere. In many cases, the themes woven into their ocean murals and other pictures tell one where in the city one is heading, or what sector one is. As one nears the Library in Eskeliae, one finds more and more elements of scrolls or books or pens woven into the ocean settings. I imagine this piece might be inside the Library itself, but carvings with similar vibes and forms adorn the walls of the Library and the walls of the streets as one nears the Library.
It makes a rather nice way to know where one is going and give directions, and to describe one lives or wishes to meet to another, if that is called for.
