Hi! It’s Saturday again, and time for some more art. Marginally related to Heart of Fire. I mean – it is related to Heart of Fire …
This is another of my original pieces. It’s an adventure drawing each one, especially since it really is an adventure, since I do not sketch well at all. Instead, I worked towards the back, coloring and shading each element before working on the next one. Except I saved the sand for last.

I’m really quite sure which Sea Elf city this is, or if it’s necessarily a specific one, and not simply an attempt to catch some of the vibes that tend to go with their cities. Though they are sometimes designed in rather different styles, all the Sea Elf cities are built around ocean motifs. But how these motifs are expressed varies a great deal. Sometimes, it is more dominant in the sculpting of the architecture, and other times it is primarily expressed in the way different shades and colors are used in the stone facing.
At any given time, very few Sea Elves actually live in any of their cities, however. Most of them spend almost all their lives in the open ocean, and their cities serve primarily as a kind of nexus point.
